INGREDIENTS
- 150g extra-lean ground turkey breast 1 tsp. garlic powder
- 1 tsp. cumin
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. chili powder
- 1 tsp. paprika
- ½ tsp. oregano
- ½ small onion, minced
- 8 large iceberg lettuce leaves
INSTRUCTIONS
- Brown turkey in large non-stick skillet over medium heat, breaking into smaller pieces as it cooks.
- When no longer pink, add dry seasonings and mix well.
- Add the onion, pepper, water, and cover. Simmer on low for about 20 minutes.
- Wash and dry the lettuce. Divide meat equally between the eight leaves and place in the center of each leaf.
- Wrap each leave and pin with toothpick to hold in place.
